If you like to have a drink every now and then, keep your money out of the casino if you are going to do your drinking in a casino. I am serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all money, charge cards and checks out of the casino. Pack only the money you intend to spend on refreshments, tipping and few dollars you intend to throw away and leave the rest behind.
Contemptuous? Absolutely not. Just realistic. You can experience a win after a drunken night out with your buddies and be lucky enough to hit a 25 minute toss at a hot craps table. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you always drink and wager. These activities just do not mix.
Keeping your moola back at the hotel is a tiny bit excessive, but precautionary measures for dramatic actions is necessary. If you wager to profit, then don’t drink alcohol and gamble. If you like to be wasteful with your cash nary a worry, then drink all the free beer your stomach can handle, but do not take credit cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of following squanderings after your drunk as a skunk brain throws away all the cash!
Permit me to take this 1 step further. Don’t drink and then hop on to the internet to gamble in your preferred online casino either. I love to cocktail from the comfort of my condo, however since I am linked up through Neteller, Firepay and have plastic credit in close proximity, I can’t drink and gamble.
What’s the reason? Although I don’t consume alcohol to excess, when I drink, it is certainly enough to befuddle my common sense. I gamble, so I don’t drink when gambling. If you are a drinker, do not bet when you do. The two mix up for an awful, and costly, cocktail.
