A getaway that will always be recalled is the one in Vegas, what is often described as "Sin City" due to its gambling palaces, though I choose to remember it as a "sensational" city, Las Vegas, Nevada.
From Los Angeles to this gambler’s city, It was about a four hour drive in the summer. The weather was abnormally hot but such eagerness filled the air. When my buddies and I arrived at our hotel, we were astounded by the care accorded to us by the valet attendant as he welcomed us to the betting and entertainment universe, this was the beginning of what turned out being the most amazing time.
We participated in card games like poker, twenty-one and other table games like video poker and slots, we horsed around and ate delicious meals, made by a few of the greatest cooks on the planet, all right on the Vegas strip.
I decided to test my luck on a behemothic dollar slot machine game and decided to risk twenty five dollars of the $200 I had bankrolled for the complete getaway. After putting in Seventeen dollars into this huge slot machine game I hit three hundred dollars and I bounced around and horsed around so much, a casino employee came our way and gave my friends and me no cost tickets to a show with coupons for two free beverages. We were in a world of surprise, appreciation and recognized that it would be a betting and adventure getaway not to be cast away.
